Kashyap and Sameer started with an upset win over higher ranked opponents ... Sameer scored an upset win over top-15 Saensomboonsuk in three games.
Disappointing loss of Sourabh against his Japanese opponents after winning the first game.
Satwik and Ashwini also lost in straight games against top-15 Hong Kong pair.

Just to clarify they are the first mens doubles pair to reach a Super Sseries QF since 2012. In womens doubles, Ashwini and Jwala have done better.
