PV Sindhu lost 21-11, 14-21, 14-21 to Bingjiao. Disappointing. Pranav Jerry Chopra and Akshay Dewalkar also lost men's doubles in the morning. We only have one representation left now, Pranav/Sikki Reddy will pay against the 4th seeds tonight. Tough match

That Thai girl Ratchanok Intanon has won 3 back to back super series titles and will become the new world no. 1 in next week's rankings. She is probably the favourite for the gold at Rio now.

Oh yes, she is an amazing player. I have posted in 2011 that she will dominate badminton and probably will end up becoming the greatest female badminton player. viewtopic.php?f=8246&t=211947&p=4296754 ... n#p4296754

Srikanth's form almost seems to be getting worse as this is his worst loss of the year against a 100+ opponent in 2 uncompetitive games. I wonder if he isn't fully fit but is playing for Olympic qualification points. Hopefully, Prannoy has a deep run here although his win was also pretty close...

Pv Sindhu won 21-9 and 21-17 against Chien Hui Yu. Nice easy win. She will next face Porntip Buranaprasertsuk in the QF. The last time they met in All England Open, Porntip triumphed

Re: Malyasia Open SSP/ Singapors open SS/ China Masters GPG - April 16
Lost all three matches today. Pathetic! Sindhu shouldn't be losing these matches
Pannoy l Chen Long 10-21, 15-21
Gutta Jwala/Ashwini Ponnappa l Luo Ying/Luo Yu 11-21, 14-21
PV Sindhu l Porntip Buranaprasertsuk 17-21, 19-21
Both Prannoy and Jwala/Ashwini drew top seeds and was always going to be tough but Sindhu's is an utter disappointment
