So, this Gayatri G Pullela won the South Asian Games individual silver and was part of the team gold in 2019. Sorry if I missed this being reported by our crack team here. But in case others have missed this, she is just 17. High hopes?

She is Gopi's daughter and her best ranking is 200 from December 2019.

Yep, I know. It is an understatement to state that she is Gopi's daughter. She is Gopi and P.V.V. Lakshmi's daughter, the latter who was an eight-time national champion and represented India in the Atlanta Olympics. While I do not remember her being as successful as Gopi internationally, I think the quality of the other half of the genes is also superb.
