Sindhu's match is the 2nd one in the evening session. That's much better than her recovery time between R3 and QF matches....

It is all over. Sindhu lost 17-21, 15-21. It seemed like Marin had more energy than Sindhu who looked tired.

And Carolina Marin beat Chinese world no. 1 Li Xurei in 3 games to become the first Spaniard to lift the world title and probably the first European to do so in many many years in womens singles. Great to see Chinese domination in womens singles slowly diminishing.
