The likes of Deepika Kumari have been ranked 1 in their disciplines but those are purely Olympic sports. I would say Prakash, Anand and Saina are the only ones to achieve that in a "more than just the Olympics" sport.

Also shooting/wrestling/boxing have multiple events. So, no.1 ranking there does not necessarily mean that the athlete is best in that sport at that particular time.

Today Srikanth and Prannoy reached their career high ranking of No. 3 and No. 13 respectively. But Saina has dropped to 3.

Also, Manu and Sumeeth touched #20 for the very first time in MD.... 
Meanwhile in the Men's Singles, Srikanth, Kashyap and Prannoy maintain their rankings of #3, #10 and #12 respectively...
It might be a close fight between Kashyap and Prannoy for the Rio Olympics spot...
Saina is at #2 and Sindhu is at #14... Sindhu needs to maintain a Top-16 spot to be able to qualify for Rio...
Meanwhile in the Men's Singles, Srikanth, Kashyap and Prannoy maintain their rankings of #3, #10 and #12 respectively...

Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy are at a another career high of 17 this week. Hope they go higher and higher now with new doubles coach coming in.

Saina is back as No.1. Jwala-Ashwini have broken into the top 10 which is a high for an Indian women's doubles pair.
