Given how much she overperforms in big competitions, I would hope that all our mental strength experts stay away from her :D

She is not a dominant player (like Lin Dan for a decade), and continuous medal-ing is a phenomenal achievement.

Prakash Padukone too feels that Sindhu does not have a mental block -

PV Sindhu doesn’t have mental block in major finals, insists Prakash Padukone

Marin,Tai and the 2 Japanese- Okuhara and Yamaguchi are all quality players who can beat Sindhu when they are playing well. It is good that this time Sindhu could beat both the Japanese in QF and SF but could not better Marin. Hopefully she will next time.

As he said, we desperately need a second good coach to support Gopi after the Indonesian Handyo left late last year. Since than our performances have gone down.
