All tough matches for our lot.

Axelsen has won the last 3 in straights after losing the first 2 in 3 sets in 2015 when Srikanth was considered the better talent.

4th super series final of the year for Srikanth and he has won 2 of the 3 finals that he has reached this year, only losing Singapore open fiinal against Sai Praneeth.

Hope he wins his third title of the year against veteran 37 year old Korean Lee Hyun Il.

The next time KS loses early, saniapower will call him a scrub who should only play GPG level tournaments.

Good luck to Srikanth in the final!

I think he will move into the top 5 with this result. He has also played among the fewest number of tournaments among the top 20, so he probably is currently under ranked. That is, he is likely among the top 2-3 in the world based on this performance.
