Another South Africa Tour Of India before T20WC 2022.The three-match T20I series against South Africa will begin in Thiruvananthapuram on September 28, followed by Guwahati on October 1 and Indore on October 3.

The ODIs against South Africa will be played in Ranchi, Lucknow and Delhi on October 6, 9, 11.

Bowling definately one of huge concern and the other thing want to see Axar getting promoted to n.o 4 in one or two match, on the likes of Maharaj & Shamsi to find out wheather he can provide Jadeja like service to the team. He should get chance to bat and gain confidence before the WC

Umran Malik added as stand by for Shami. Its a good decision, he should play in SA T20Is, genuine fast bowlers are creating difference in T20Is, Wood & Haris Rauf are good examples. Among Bhuvi / Harshal only one should go to Australia, otherwise don't see batters chasing 180+/200+ everytime, neither this horrible bowling can defend 200+ in high pressure games of WC

Big question on NCA, its doctors & rehabilitation program, Bumrah, Natarajan, Jadeja, Prasidh, Sundar, Chahar all have been injury prone over last 1/2 years. Injury can happen but these players haven't been fit for long time. Few of them goes in /out regularly. A better injury care process is expected from world richest cricket board

Shami - Haven't seen Shami bowl a successfull tough over throughout his career except Afghanistan league match in 2019 WC

Siraj - So far Siraj's succcess is all about red ball cricket, average in odi and poor in T20Is

Bhuvi - Made India win many matches by bowling tough overs but at present he is not there

Umesh - Bowls well in one or two IPL season else he also belongs to red ball cricket

Debate can be raised that these bowlers havent performed previously that doesnt mean they can't perform now, similarly it can also be said they can't perform now as they have poor records in past. If experience has last laugh then why not Ishant Sharma ? he also bowled tough over in 2013 CT. Its a very much gamble like situation

Mentioning Ishant Sharma may look funny but you have raised a good point here. Ishant Sharma with his height got great bounce in Aus tracks that destroyed Aussie quality batters back in 2007, infact he became tough to handle. They are going to prefer Shami or Siraj, both have done well with red ball but in white ball they have been average. Prasidh Krishna or Kuldeep Sen both are tall and can extract good amount of bounce with pace in those hard wickets of Australia and can trouble quality batters
