I wrote that when Afghanistan were 106/2, and Bumrah immediately bowled that superb over, making them 106/4 at the end of the over.
Chahal gets the third wicket 24 runs later. India are definitely back in the game. But more wickets are needed!

Bumrah still has some 4 overs left, I think (EDIT: 3 overs). But 75 runs in 11 overs... AFG is still in it and we need a wicket or two in a hurry (and a bunch of dot balls)

Shami’s second spell proving expensive. India needs 2 more wickets soon.

AFG is now pretty much ahead. Only 6.4 RRR with 9 overs and 5 wickets in hand. We are losing this, as of now.... And just as I say it, Pandya strikes.

PKBasu wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2019 3:44 pm And Bumrah delivers 2 in one over! Should’ve had 3, because the first ball was LBW but Aleem Dar didn’t give it. India has no reviews left.
Aleem Dar's umpiring has been very suspect all match.

Trigger happy to give out during India's batting and refusing to do so during the Afghani innings.

I wouldn't mind an Afghani win if it meant the end of Dhoni.

Unfortunately that won't happen. Biggest match-loser over the last 4 years.

2 8-run overs from Shami, but Pandya gets the breakthrough.

Yes, Aleem Dar (a Kashmiri Pakistani) has not been above board today.

Dhoni is not going anywhere anytime soon.. our captain needs a mentor.. this is a weak batting line up we have specially if Rohit and Kohli don’t fire .. any crucial match where we need to chase will see us crumbling under pressure ...I hope Kohli give good kick to Rahul and Vijay for playing poor shots and throwing it away ..
Also may be it’s time to play Jadeja and give Kuldeep a break to regroup ..

Terrific 43rd over from Chahal: just 3 runs off it, and Afghanistan now need 53 off 7 overs with 4 wickets in hand.

A tie is definitely among the possibilities here.

Kohli should have bowled Shami more at the top when he was in such a good rhythm or bring in during middle over..he bowled 4 overs at top and nothing after , for some one who is playing after a while and generally is more of a hit or miss type a bowler this is risky .. get Nabi else Afg will win..

Kuldeep won us the last match against Pak, he is a genuine matchwinner though doesn't fire often.

Dhoni can't even get wickets out of spinners on a friendly pitch anymore, kya hi advice dega. If Kohli needs a mentor, Rohit has shown pretty good captaincy skills in LOI cricket.

Kohli was playing beautifully but got starved of strike by Shankar and Dhoni neither of whom could rotate the ball, especially Dhoni, and lost his wicket trying to accelerate on the few balls he got.
