What's going on? No comments about today's 'wonderful' batting display?

England could declare after 3 sessions and then need just 40+ overs to bowl our lot again. 5 sessions max needed to go 2-0 so another full day's rain won't save this test.

There is no other option but to try our new batsmen. Nair and Pant. Though they may not be better, they may not be much worse

Too many passengers in the team . Vijay , Rahul , DK, Pandya to name few .. lucky to have got 107 with the conditions and this batting lineup...

Current options are as follows:

1. Throw the current batsmen except Kohli into the English Channel.
2. Make it compulsory for all batsmen to play first class cricket/ T20 in countries like England, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
3. Ask Ravi Shastri to focus on commentary only and not on coaching.
4. Bring back Kumble as coach and someone like Dravid as batting coach.

Kuldeep , Ashwin and Pandya looks ordinary on this track so far .. Woakes and Bairstow slowly but surely taking this away ..lead already 76...

Insanity that Ashwin didn’t bowl until England were 160/5 and Bairstow/Woakes were set. Kohli’s captaincy is increasingly bizarre.

Kohli is a hopeless test captain and does not help when you have someone like Shastri as coach...

To retrieve the series, India needs to fly Prithwi Shaw out. And replace Kartik with Rishabh Pant. In the India match against England Lions (with Curran and Woakes in the attach), Shaw made 62 while Vijay (his opening partner) made 8. (They both got second innings ducks). Pant made half centuries in both innings and kept reasonably well.

When there is so much rain, it is stupidity to play two spinners! That after you saw the first day being washed off. We have to try something else. Nair and Pant. Maybe bring Umesh back or Bumrah if he is fit.

In RSA, we won a match because Kohli could prod people to believe that we could win there. Even if this test is a drubbing, he should not let the team give up. Keep fighting until the last match even if it is 0-4.

Given its a 5 match series it’s worth calling for some replacements...surely whoever comes in can’t be any bad than Vijay, Dhawan & Rahul.. I am a big fan of Rahul but he is just clueless against quality swing bowling ...Throw Pandya and Dk out unless they do something out of the ordinary in second inning ....
