Weather.com :D I'd much rather take your eyewitness weather though...

Very poor show by India's bowlers in the final. I'm surprised we went in with two specialist spinners -- and excluded Umesh Yadav again. Ashwin has taken a beating.

0/70 for Ashwin in his 10 overs. But the young opener finally falls to Pandya immediately afterwards. The bowlers need to pick up some more quick wickets.

Bad selection going with 2 spinners.
Best bet in such big final is to win toss and bat as runs on board is always an advantage in finals....
Middle order failed when they should have steadied the innings after 2-3 quick wickets...

All above contributed to a royal thrashing in the finals.

Despite the tag of chase masters, always bat against Pakistan first. And don't play spinners against Asian teams. Quite simple. But, hubris does us in again.

Yes should have batted first , also was surprised to see negative mind set against the opener in bowling leg sidish from first over itself ...gave him enough chance to settle and he made India pay big time ...Kohli was very poor as a captain must say ...

Poor team selection to blame.

But also a good result in the long run for India. India needs to start blooding the likes of Pant in if we want to do well on these super flat pitches.
