Mishra could have won it for us earlier, when he bowled Stokes first ball, but it turned out to be a No Ball. He bowls too many of those for a spinner.

Yes. I watched the Indian batting at the end and at the beginning. At the end, it was very clear that the pace bowlers were tough to hit if they mixed it up. At the end, Manish Pandey's innings proved crucial. He played a run a ball innings, hit a six at the end and then gave up his wicket trying to hit another ball. I wonder why Kohli continued too long with Raina and Chahal. Raina clearly had problems with the dew in his 3rd over. He should have tried Hardik.

Chahal's last over was awful, as was Raina's -- although Stokes had a lot to do with the latter.
Mishra is a good limited-overs bowler, if he can cut out the No Balls.

India's T20I team.

Top order - good especially when Rohit returns.
Middle order - dismal.
Bowling - very good (if you include Shami and Jadeja)

Actually, in T20Is, Ashwin has bowled much better than Jadeja. Ashwin has lost some form and maybe something is wrong mentally in T20Is for him. But, I think with his variations and ability to think, he should be a better long-term bet than Jadeja. Jadeja can hit though. So, he can play as the 6th bowler if we want. But, the 5th bowler has to be a medium-pacer. Pandya is learning on the job and doing okay. Has Shami really bowled well in T20Is? Or in the IPL? I think we should save him for the longer versions of the game.

When Rohit returns, Kohli can slip down to #3. Then, we have to find 3 more bats including a wicket-keeper who can do what it takes.

Ashwin is a poor fielder and runner between the wickets as well; both are a lot more important in the shortest format of the game.

We certainly need to save Shami and not play him in these pointless bilaterals and only play him in the major competitions.

Pant along with Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Panchal, Vijay Shankar, Kuldeep Yadav all are in the India A squad to play BD. Hopefully some of them impress enough to start seeing minutes in the senior team.

We desperately need Pant to succeed in particular though.

Agree on the fielding and batting wrt Ashwin. Pant and Kuldeep possibly have the best chance to get into the T20I team for now.

Amit Mishra, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumra won us the final T20I in a canter, after an excellent platform laid by Raina, Dhoni and Yuvi.
Mishra was brilliant with the ball and unlucky that a simple catch was dropped because Pant nearly collided into Yuvi, who otherwise would have caught it comfortably. His miserly spell laid the groundwork for Chahal's fireworks later.
Mishra remains comical in the field, albeit a game trier. Pant had too little time at bat, but was immature on the field (understandable for a 'keeper forced into the outfield). He'll learn soon, hopefully.
