I also use unread posts. Prasen, the problem is that all our tennis threads mix singles and doubles. Sania, yes, I can simply skip those. Others, not possible unless I want to miss the singles results and discussion too. Yes, I’d love to have a way to suppress threads too.

Does anyone know if Sania is planning another comeback or has she retired?

She hasn't retired. The only reason she isn't playing the Australian Open is that she was down with Covid-19 in late-December. She is likely to be back before the French Open -- and is planning to play the Olympics.

Sania is in the doubles entry list at the Doha WTA 500 with Andreja Klepac who is currently ranked 40 in the world. Andreja (w/ Neal Skupski) reached the QF stage in the AO Mixed event.

Pretty stunning win. Sania immediately slots in among the elite in women's doubles. The pair they defeated here includes one sister (Nadiia) who was Sania's partner when she won her previous comeback tournament, the Hobart International, in January 2020. (She then got injured before the AO in 2020).

Re: Sania Mirza Comeback (2020-22). Retired 2023
Watched this match - Dabrowski is currently playing with random partners ever since she broke up with Yifan Xu and is not finding success with anyone. Saina and Andreja took this to the fullest advantage in thrashing this scratch pair.
I would love to see this pair facing the likes of some of the current top ranked doubles players in the finals here or in Dubai next week. Top seeds Siniakova/Krejicikova are through to the SF, as well.
Go, Sania!

Blinkova also lost in the final of the WTA Melbourne 4 (Phillips Island Trophy) to Ankita! She must hate the site of Indian players!!
But Sania is sending out a strong signal to the rest of the women's doubles field: she is BACK!!! And ready to win big.
