Sania Mirza Tournaments - 2017
As per report, Sania will team up with American Bethanie Mattek-Sands for the year-opening WTA tournament in Brisbane ... Mostly for short-time as both of them having a successful partnership with their respective current Czech partners, Barbora Strycova and Lucie Safarova.

Sania's latest pairing post Martina is not that successful. She is winning most matches but not the important ones. Agree, the pair needs time but doesn't look like love at first sight.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands is clearly a much stronger partner for Sania. There could be more to this partnership than a short-term arrangement.

Yes, I would love to see Sania and Bethanie team up. If I remember right, they had decent success whenever they played. Of course, Mattek-Sands had improved by leaps and bounds since then. If they do pair up regularly, they can definitely emulate the success of SanTina.

Re: Sania Mirza Tournaments - 2017
Ironically if they win the next match, Sania will lose the world #1 ranking to her partner here, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, after 91 successive weeks at the top.

I think Sania & BMS should stick together. They can win everything!

Re: Sania Mirza Tournaments - 2017
The sad thing about Sania & M-Sands winning the title is that the latter had dethroned the former as #1.

True, but they each have other doubles partners currently. There would need to be a double-simultaneous-divorce for them to get together.vatsal323 wrote:I think Sania & BMS should stick together. They can win everything!
