CONGRATULATIONS to the new Wimbledon women's doubles champion!!

What a terrific 11 months for Sania since August last year, when she began to win tournament after tournament in the company of Cara Black -- culminating in the World Doubles Championship in Singapore last October (which I had the pleasure of watching in person!). But surely for a professional tennis player -- actually any tennis player! -- winning Wimbledon is the ultimate accolade, and that is precisely what Sania won today in the company of Martina Hingis, with whom she has built the world's best doubles pairing of 2015.

Yes, fantastic achievement. First Indian women to win a womens doubles title at any slam and none has even come close to that. Sania is truly a trailblazer.

Get many more now.

Congratulations to Sania and Martina on winning the doubles title at Wimbledon -- it solidifies Sania's position as the top doubles player. It would be nice if they win the US Open as well.
