The WTA tour finals start next Monday in Singapore. I will be there to watch Sania's matches. Unfortunately, doubles will be on the basis of a straight knock-out, so just three matches for Sania/Cara! (I am assuming they will make the final…). There is a round-robin for singles -- with two pools -- but doubles will be straight knock-out. If Sania/Cara can avoid Errani/Vinci in the SF, they should be able to make the final!

Sania/Cara are seeded third, I believe, but whether or not they will avoid Errani/Vinci in the SF will only be known after the draw on Tuesday.

Sania/Cara play Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears in R1, but are drawn to play top-seeded Errani/Vinci in the SF.

Although the WTA site still says "Coming Soon" when referring to tomorrow's schedule, Sania's mom tells me their first match is tomorrow (Thursday) evening.

I will be there for the 7:30pm-ish start of Sania's first match in a year-end championship!!
