Congratulations to Sania for making it to another doubles final this year...
she will earn 700 points for her effort which should put her back in the top 15 of the doubles...

:Offtopic: Sania's partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands qualified for the main draw of the Linz open WTA thrashing 6th seed Ksenia Pervak in straight sets.

Can Sania emulate the same sometime somewhere  ?

As has been mentioned many times in this knowledgeable forum, it is all in the legs. Let's be realistic. Her legs don't have it no more. Even at her peak, her legs weren't up to world class standards. When she did play singles, it was a question of Sania's hands beating her opponent's feet. Once they figured out that the forehand was only potent when she had time to set up, they started moving her around and drinking balls low to her forehand totally out of her strike zone. At that point, the mystery of Sania was solved and it became difficult for her. So for any one to expect Sania to start and sustain competitive singles play is wishful thinking. I am just happy when she does well in doubles.

That's a pretty good summary of her singles game and its limitations. She does have pretty good doubles potential as her forehand is still quite a weapon and that's perhaps where she is successful in the next few years.

BTW has Sania and Bathenie Mattek split??
if yes, its good for Sania, she deserves a better partner.
Mattek is playing in Luxembourg with Petkovic.
