Superb win from Sania. Great to see her slowly getting back into the form. Even at this juncture of her career, 165 is a very low ranking for her potential. Not sure if she can get back into the top-50 but surely top-100 is reckoning. Go Sania

Perkovic should be easy if not for her hot form! This will be her 8th match in a row in Dubai. She had impressive wins in the qualifying round, she beat players ranked 365, 261, 277 and 371 respectively in this tournament so far. Obviously at the moment, she is playing way above her ranking. But still Sania should cross this hurdle, what would be interesting is to see the manner in which she can beat Perkovic. An easy straight set victory would be great.
