Sania Mirza - General Discussion of non-tennis matters
I agree with guest and puneets that it is off-topic.
In my opinion (for whatever it's worth) this thread is meant for general discussions about Sania as a tennis player. If Sandeep is keen to discuss her dress code, perhaps he could start another thread for that purpose

"general chit chat" will be a better section for this.

Exactly!!If her family has no problems with naughty anagrams, why should we?Its meant to be witty anyway. What she wears is nobody's business but her own.guest wrote: You are right. She was not addressing children in a school. She was sitting with her family (including what looks like her younger sister) in the stands during the practice rounds of the Sunfeast open. There are bound to be kids around. However, if her family doesn't mind, maybe no one minds. In any case, this was one occasion I can't complain. In fact she looks cool with matching sunglasses and iPod (?). She was just being a 18 year old.
However, sitting with my family, I probably wouldn't wear it, no matter how fashionable this brand is. I may have insinuated that she was addressing children; I apologize. Here are links to those pictures:

What do you really expect her to say by way of explanation? My t-shirts are a reflection of my philosophy and idealogies?I think i'm cute as hell, and I believe that brats make history?I like attention, duh? She will obviously say that its no big deal. And it isn't.Its just a t-shirt.guest wrote: I could only resist for about a month! Finally, I will post. Completely conked just insists on the point that she is only 18 so let her do what she wants. The point is not her age. In fact, we should let everyone do whatever they want, irrespective of their age - 8, 18, or 38. The point really is - why does she wear them to these interviews? I have seen many pictures of her (including some from the Thailand open?) where most other players are wearing t-shirts. Let alone one with a message, she is not even wearing one. In fact, hardly any pictures of her that I've seen on the net show her wearing a t-shirt. Therefore, it is clear that she wears them at interviews for a purpose. If you wear them, then take the responsibility and admit it. Don't ask to be excused because you are only 18. BTW, did you notice how the NBA has enacted some dress code for players off court? While remotely related, it does show you that in professional sports or really anywhere in the public eye, each person has a responsibility that cannot be abdicated due to personal preferences or young age. Finally, if this was a prerogative of a typical 18 year old, how come I haven't seen even one more 18 year old tennis player like this? To summarize, wear what you want where you want, but don't get annoyed and uppity when questioned. Answer the questions like a pro you are.
She is just using reverse psychology.Keep saying its no big deal, and people will make a big deal out of it.She likes stirring things up,and grabbing people's attention.Stop paying attention to her t-shirts,and she'll get even more annoyed. What a brat!I think its cute .
Sort of like Sandeep. If we don't nitpick about his nitpicking he'll get annoyed, while all the while he pretends to be annoyed about our nitpicking over his nitpicking The perfect Sania fan
Finally, if this was a prerogative of a typical 18 year old, how come I haven't seen even one more 18 year old tennis player like this?
Dude, don't you get it yet? There is no one like her! Both on and off the court. She's a complete freak, and we are all grateful for that.
You can stuff all your well-behaved, leggy blonde tennis players in a closet.Give me the nose-ringed brat anyday. She's entertaining.

What t-shirt should she wear? You can either agree with me or be wrong!

You think it will be done in a fair manner ? Sania will be paid some amount for showing up on KBC and then it will be a pre planned event. They will add some masala by making her use life lines and all. But one thing for sure, you can judge how well Sania can act from this eventLets see how much she wins before her B'day!

Yes. Celebrity episodes are always pre-planned in KBC. In these episodes the celebrities never end up losing early & win at least 50 L / 1 crore which can never be the case all the time if it is fairly done. In any case they do would not want a celebrity to go out after 2-3 questions when they have advertised so much for the episode.

Sania may be a big star but i am pretty sure that there is no way that Sania will be paid any appearance fee ,coz well compared to the host she has miles to go to reach that level of fame and plus considerin the fact that the money goes to charity,i dont think that the celebrities demand an appearance fee!!
