Unfortunately he dropped 3 shots on holes 6 to 9. Birdied the 10 and is 1 under after 12 when play was suspended. Hopefully the weather clears up tomorrow and he can make hay in good conditions.

In spite of those setbacks, Anirban is still T5, 3 strokes off the leader...

Hopefully he'll stay in Top-10 by the end of R2... :goodluck:

Anirban lost another stroke in the final 6 holes, so he is now -5 and T-9 after the second round.

As predicted, Anirban is having a good 3rd round so far with -3 from 10 holes. He is at T5 and 2 shots behind the leader. I think this is the event he will change the fortunes in the 4th round to secure a T3 finish (with a bit of luck, hopefully is a winner)

Anirban is having a decent 3rd round as he is -3 for the day after 11 holes. He is -8 overall and currently T5, just two strokes behind the leaders.
OK VReddy beat me in posting this. :)

Unfortunately, he made a bogey right on the next hole (#12). :( He followed it with two pars to remain on -7. While the leaders in the mean time have also increased their lead as they are up to -12. So he is now 4 strokes behind and T12. I hope if he can finish strong and go at least 2 under in the remaining 4 holes. Oh boy! As I type this he hit his 2nd shot in the water on 15th hole :damn: . It won't be pretty now.

back-to-back bogey-birdie combos on the last 4 holes...

sinks in a 11-foot birdie putt to finish -2 for the day and -7 overall for T10...

Topsy-turvy day for Anirban with 5 birdies and 3 bogeys...

I will take this score for tomorrow as well and a T10 finish...

I just hope that he can finish among the top 10. Yesterday he made 2 brilliant birdies, one on the 18th a 10 foot 6 inch putt and the other a 23 foot 9 inch on the 6th.

Anirban Lahiri is having a good outing today. With 4 birdies and no bogey he is currently at T5 after 10, 2 strokes off the leader.
Anirban will get another birdie on the 11th (a 1foot 6 in putt). 5 under for today, Lahiri is now at T3 just 1 stroke off the leader.

Bogeyed the 12th and double bogeyed the 15th by hitting into the creek both after hitting perfect drives onto the fairway. Much better week, especially with the putter, but still unable to hold the rounds together. First top ten finish of the year with a T7 but needs more of this and better, if he wants to hold onto his ranking without going back to Asia.

Anirban finished T6 and earned $216,913 for the week. He moves into the top 100 of the FedExCup standings. Need a few more such performances and he needs to cut down on his double bogeys.

He just needs to make 4 good rounds. He was 8 under after 20 holes and went 1 under over the remaining 52.

Still happy to see he is getting into some form as we get closer to the Olympics. I will be in NJ in end July to cheer him on at the PGA on a course that should suit him well if he is in form.

Great effort by Anirban to finish in the T-6 position -- his best finish on the PGA tour this year. Hopefully, this will give him the confidence that he can contend on the PGA tour as he was in contention on the back 9 on the final day before the a bogey and double bogey derailed his chances of an even stronger finish.
