In the 2nd round, Anirban hit the other end of the spectrum today with a 5-over day - 5 bogeys and no birdies...
He missed all his close putts. He converted even longer putts yesterday.... He was just not in his elements today and things just didn't go his way...

T37 after round 2 with a total of 1-under... :goodluck:

#15 - Missed an 8-ft birdie putt
#17 - Missed a 12-foot birdie putt by inches
#18 - Missed a 15-foot par putt by inches

#1 - Missed a 6-foot par putt
#5 - Missed a 7-and-a-half foot birdie putt
#6 - Missed a 6-and-a-half foot par putt
#9 - Missed a 4-foot birdie putt to finish off........

Anirban moves up to T19 (joint with Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott) at the end of round 3.

Anirban was going steady until the last two holes, where he got bogeys... Otherwise, he would have been closer to Top-10...

Mixed day, as there were some long putts that were made, but also lots of missed short putts yesterday...
Hopefully Anirban will show up today with his -6 form from the first day... :goodluck:

Anirban finished T41 :-(
Rory finished T4 and Scott T17, but Anirban slipped down the leaderboard on the final day. He isn't yet playing as well on the PGA tour as he has played in the EPGA in the past.

It was one of those disastrous rounds again (not as bad as the 2nd round though) for Anirban where he was close to getting a good round, but his putter was inconsistent... :-(

#3 - Missed a 5-foot par putt
#5 - Missed a 4-foot birdie putt
#6 - Missed an 8-foot par putt
#8 - Missed an 8-and-a-half-foot birdie putt

#11 - Missed an 8-foot par putt
#13 - Missed a 5-and-a-half-foot par putt - 3 bogeys in a row
#14 - Scored a 23-foot birdie putt..
#16 - Missed a 7-foot par putt
#18 - Missed a 6-foot par putt

6 bogeys and 3 birdies in all...

Even if he had converted the putts that were less than 8-ft, it would have been 2-under instead of 3-over... and Anirban could have finished in Top-15... And not to mention the previous two rounds with similar putting issues.... Well.... :-(

He's not in the field of the Player's Championship this week.....

His ranking has been on a downward slope so will get harder for him to make these fields. Needs a few top 5 finishes and soon.

$7.3M AT&T Byron Nelson

R1
Pretty bad start for Anirban yesterday 1-over after 16 holes and was T106 when play was suspended due to darkness...
He came back today morning with a bogey on the 18th to finshi his R1 with a score of 2-over for T123.... :-(

At that point of time, he was in the danger of missing the cut...

R2

Come R2, and he starts with a bang... 3 birdies in the first 5 holes... on the back 9...
An over-hit on the par-3 17th with a bogey, pulls him back to 2-under...

On the front 9, he starts off with a missed 7-foot birdie putt.., but sinks in a 13-foot birdie putt on the 4th hole to move back up to 3-under for the day.. and 1-under overall, still in a danger or missing the cut...

But an awesome 11-foot eagle putt on the 7th changes all that and puts Anirban at 5-under for the day and 3-under overall, getting him over the projected cut... :notworthy: T45

last hole of the day for Anirban... Unless something goes really bad, Anirban is all set for the weekend... :goodluck:

Par on the final hole of the day to finish R2 with a score 5-under...
So far only two players have done better than 5-under for the day....

3-under overall for T46... and definitely makes the cut... Should aim higher for the weekend.. :goodluck:

Based on how the rest of his season has gone so far, he will go 3 or 4 over tomorrow to just make the cut. He will go 4 under in R3 to go up to the 20th spot before going 2 over in the final round to finish in the 40-50th spot.

Yes, Anirban has done well adjusting to the PGA tour courses and conditions by making 11 cuts in 14 events so far and is on his way to making his 12th cut. However, he's not had 4 good rounds in any event so far and so has only 1 top-25 finish. He has the length to do well on the PGA tour, so hopefully he can now string together 4 good rounds in some of the events to get a few top-10 finishes which should get his ranking and status on the tour moving in the right direction.

$6.7M DEAN & DELUCA Invitational

R2

Tremendous start for Anirban after the 2nd round has been delayed by 3 hours due to inclement weather.... Anirban could only start at 5:22 PM...

#1 - And start he did with an eagle on the first hole with 23-foot putt.... -2 (-7 overall) T2
#2 - A birdie with a 10-foot putt... -3 (-8 overall) T1
#3 - botched up the approach shot (2nd) and the 3rd shot could get him only 20-ft close to the hole. Missed it by a foot and ended up with a bogey... -2 (-7 overall) T3
# 4 - Saved the par with a good approach shot and a 6-foot putt... -2 (-7 overall) T3
#5 - Wonderful approach shot and converted the 10-foot birdie putt... -3 (-8 overall) T2...

3 shots off the leader Bryce Molder who is wrecking havoc with 5 birdies in 8 holes...
