Digvijay Singh and Gaurav Ghei carded a round of 70 today to tie with Singapore for 11th place.

The Nations Cup is taking place at Laguna National Golf and Country Club's Classic Course in Singapore. (PKBasu's backyard :roll: )

The top four teams at the Nations Cup will qualify for the World Golf Championships-World Cup at Kiawah Island, United States in November 2003.

First day's scores:
66: Thailand, Myanmar
67: Finland
68: Philippines, Guam, Holland
69: China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka
70: India, Singapore
71: Malaysia
74: Mauritius
76: Nigeria

Here are the scores of the second day play. India has moved up to 9th spot from the 11th place at the half way mark. The top four teams qualify for the World Golf Championship in 2003.

At the end of the third day of the four day competition the Indian team has moved up to 5th spot. The top four go to the World Golf Championship.

Although Indian top golfers were not playing here, but Digvijay and Garuv are no less. In face Garuv has the record of being first Indian to play in a major (British open).
Here we go on the world stage.
Last week Jyoti brought cheers by winning JPGA tournament, this week India qualifies for the world championship. I wonder what is in store next week.
