Congratulations Jyoti for the 2nd spot. It is after long time that he produced a good result. His ranking moves up from 153 to 121 - still far away from top 100 and his best ever 70. This must be really a morale booster tournament and hopefully he'll continue to produce such results in future.

This tournament was won by Arjun Atwal last year. He was not here to defend the title, but Jyoti made a gallant attemp to keep the trophy with Indians. He came close but ultimately he fell short by a single stroke. He played quite consistently as he played 4 under par rounds with last three rounds in 60s. He stepped up his game in the last two rounds of 66 and 66 to catch upwith the leaders. He finished the round with a birdie that tied him for the top spot with David HORSEY for the clubhouse lead. The duo of Anthony Kang and Prayad Marksaeng playing just behind Jyoti needed a birdie to get past Jyoti and David. Prayad missed it, however Anthony Kang made the birdie to win the tournament. Jyoti made 8 birdies and 2 bogeys in the last round.

Jyoti is not playing next week. He normally takes some time off after playing for few weeks.

Yes, and he can pack up and fly back as he had a disasterous round of +6 and lies almost at the end of the list.
No chance of making CUT unless he goes really low tomorrow.........
