Re: 2009 ASIAN Tour
Out of 14 players, 9 made the cut. For the second day an Indian leads the field, but unfortunately, first round surprise leader Digvijay Singh dropped down badly. Look at his score 63 73, i.e. he took 10 more stroke to complete his 2nd round. Similarly, Himmat Rai, who was in top 10 in first round, dropped down significantly. However, Chowrasia improved his already good first round of 66 to sizzling 62 in 2nd round. Bhullar also maintained his good form with a 66 following his 1st round 64. They just need this consistency in the next two rounds to get good results. The big Indian names like Jyoti, Daniel Chopra, Shiv Kapur made the cut but they are quiet back. While Ghei and Rahil, who have won previously in Asian tour, missed the cut.
It will be interesting to follow Chowrasia and Bhullar tomorrow. Chowrasia knows how to win and therfore he should be able to handle the pressure. The talented youngster has come close to winning few times, but he is still looking for his first victory. Here are the scores after 2nd round.

Re: 2009 ASIAN Tour
Pretty astonishing scores. This must be a very easy course. Congrats to SSP for leading at the half-way mark. I am a bit surprised (positively) to see Daniel Chopra playing in the APGA, although he is only in the middle of the pack.

Daniel must be low on confidence and playing the APGA will let him regain it and he will get to meet his buddies as well.

Re: 2009 ASIAN Tour
3rd day saw third Indian reach the top, The class comes out and this time Jyoti Randhawa took the honors with the best round of the day 8 under par 62. To SSP Chowrasia's credit, he ensured that he won''t waste the 2nd round 62 and held on to share the top spot with Jyoti at -12. However, Bhullar went 1 overpar and dropped a little on the leaderboard. Hopefully, the 4th round will bring the first victory for an Indian 9n 2009.

2009 ASIAN Tour:Singha Thailand Open
What a tournament for Indians! Seems like it was a home tournament. 5 players make top 10. Every round the best score was from an India. Day1 - Digvijay(63), Day2 - Chowrasia(62), Day3 Jyoti(62) and Day 4 - Daniel Chopra(63). At the end of each day an Indian head the leaderboard. They should air-lift this course to India!!
Jyoti Randhawa is back into winning ways! This will be a big confidence booster for him. He should soon crack the top 100. Daniel Chopra will also take lot of positives. Chowrasia let the tournament slip but he'll also be happy to get into contention in a tournament once again. Nice to see some younger brigade doing well here.

Re: 2009 ASIAN Tour
Congratulation to Jyoti ...
Jyoti Randhawa played excellent last round to become the first Indian to lift the Singha Thailand Open King's Trophy. But first round leader Digvijay Singh ended on last place.
Jyoti Randhawa - "The way the course was set up and the way it was playing, I thought I could shoot some low numbers and I did that the last two days and I'm glad I did it."
"That's the mantra now, I need to relax a bit and chill out. You don't practice and work hard during tournaments. You do it before that. I came here, I swam, I went scuba diving and I enjoyed myself. And here I am, I've won a golf tournament. I learned a lot and I think I need to do this more often."
"The two boys (Davies and Chowrasia) got me going. They were on my heels the whole day. S.S.P. made an eagle on the first hole and I needed to wake up and do something and luckily I did. It was good competition."

Re: 2009 ASIAN Tour
Jyoti and Chowrasia played their last three holes while it was raining. It more or less removed the chances for birdies on the par-5 17 and 18 holes. Chowrasia was in a great position to win after an eagle in the first hole of the day but threw it away with some bogeys. He missed several putts during the day and could have been in contention if a couple of them dropped in. Jyoti probably taught Chowrasia a thing or two about taking the lead and maintaining it. The last two holes were a lesson in defensive play.
