Excellent round by Bhullar to make the cut. After first round it was looking bleak for him. Ghei could not build on his first round and got out of contention for now with 1 over par round. He needs to do better tomorrow. Rahil, who was the best Indian in first round, is also struggling in the unfinished 2nd round at even par. Probably its good for him and hopefully he'll do better tomorrow and get back into top 10 by the end of the 2nd round. Digvijay also did good to make the cut. Amamdeep Johl needs 2 birdies in 2 remaining holes of his 2nd round to make the cut - a difficult proposition. The projected cut is at -3 and very likely to remain their.

Here are the current scores after 2nd day:

22  5  Rahil GANGJEE        66  E    -6 14
39 126  Gaganjeet BHULLAR    74 66    -4 (140)
39  82  Digvijay SINGH      72 68    -4 (140)*
61  16  Gaurav GHEI          68 73    -3 (141)*
72  82  Arjun SINGH          72 70    -2 (142)
85 106  Gurbaaz MANN        73 70    -1 (143)*
85 106  Firoz ALI            73 70    -1 (143)*
85  16  Amandeep JOHL        68 +3    -1 16

Defending champion Gaurav Ghei missed cut at Beijing Open by 1 stroke ... :(

Cut was at PAR and Gaurav managed 1 over in first round and par in second ... Johl missed cut by huge margin scoring 5 over in first and 8 over in second.

Digvijay Singh scored back to back PAR rounds to make cut ... Rahil produced best Indian result scoring 4 under in second round after scoring PAR in first ... He is in top 20 but 8 strokes behind leader.
