Jeev finished last round on PAR to finish inside top 10 in Dunlop Phoenix Tournament ... Jeev was 2 over for the round after scoring bogeys on 8th and 10th holes ... Then he scored birdie on 13th hole but immediate bogey on 14th hole brought him back on 2 over for the day and also in situation of missing top 10 finish ... But scoring back to back birdies on last 2 holes helped Jeev to finished on tied 7th position.

At Dunlop Phoenix Tournament 2007 - Final Standing

T7 Jeev Milkha Singh 68 68 70 70 - 4  ¥6,113,333

Nice to see Jeev regain some form in his old home, the JPGA tour. This T7 finish is among the best he has had anywhere this year, IIRC. Last year, top-10 finishes were routine for Jeev almost anywhere he played...

This week Shiv Kapur joins Jeev in the field at Japan.
While Jyoti & Gaurav will represent India at the World cup, Jeev will be defending his title in Japan.
Shiv has been playing well lately and hope he converts one of them to victory soon.
Jeev has got used to Japan conditions within 2 weeks and hope to see him give it all in defending his titles over the next 2 weeks.

At Casia World Open 2007 - Third Round

T39 Shiv KAPUR        74 73 71 + 2
T51 Jeev Milkha Singh 75 68 76 + 3

Horrible third round for Jeev and now he is not even in position for decent finish where he is defending champion ... :(

Bad show by Jeev and Shiv in Japan.
Jeev gets another chance to make amends as he defends the last of his titles this week in Japan.
He needs a win to improve his rankings.
He lies 80th presently, which is by far the best among all Indian Golfers.
This week the field only has 25 players...

Steady start in the final event on Japan Tour 2007 calendar where Jeev is defending champion ... Today Jeev scored 3 bogeys and 4 birdies in his round ... Currently  Shingo Katayama leading with -4 score.

Nice start by Jeev. The difficult part is that Jeev should remain consistent in the next three round. Its a difficult course and if he keeps scoring under par in the remaining rounds, he can have a good finsih. Go Jeev!!

Jeev goes one better in round 2.  :notworthy:
Scores -2 today after a -1 start yesterday & moves to tied 2nd with 2 others.
Up a place from yesterday's tied 3rd.
Shingo Katayama, the leader is 5 ahead.
Good luck Jeev for the weekend.
Hope he atleast finishes 2008 with one title

Yes, today also Jeev scored 4 birdies but atleast he managed to reduce bogey by 1 ... So currently Jeev is in position to good finish but as Ajay commented, 'can he repeat same performance in last 2 rounds?'

Today Shingo Katayama scored 5 over round to gave other golfers hope ... Japanese Hiroshi Iwata grabbed that opportunity scoring 5 under round but our Jeev also sensed opportunity and he also attacked to join leader ... Today he scored 6 birdies and 2 bogeys in his 4 under round ... At one time he was in position of taking sole lead but bogey on 17th hole tied him with Hiroshi Iwata at the end of day.

So after 3 rounds leaders, Jeev and Hiroshi, leading by 2 strokes .. Can Jeev repeats last year's title winning performance? I m hoping/ wishing YES, HE WILL ... Go Jeev.

At Golf Nippon Series JT Cup 2007 - Third Round

T1 Jeev Milkha Singh 69 68 66 - 7
T1 Hiroshi Iwata       69 69 65 - 7
