After 5 holes Gagan maintains his lead of one stroke agains Lee Westwood. Both Gagan and Harmeet are playing partners (3rd day pairing is continued for 4th day) and both are 2 under for the round so far.

1 1  Gaganjeet BHULLAR    70 64 67 -2 -17 5
2 3  Lee WESTWOOD         67 65 70 -2 -16 6
3 1  Anthony KANG         67 65 69  E -15 5
4 6  Harmeet KAHLON       66 68 70 -2 -14 5
4 4  HUR In-hoi           65 69 69 -1 -14 5
6 6  Juvic PAGUNSAN       66 67 71 -1 -13 6

Update Lee Westwood and Anthony Kang exchange their positions with a bogey and birdie respectively, while ganga takes one step further up to open up a lead of 2 strokes with a birdie on the par 5 8th hole  :bounce: Harmeet remains at 4th place but now tied with Juvic.

Update Lee Westwood also birdies the par 5 8th hole to join Kang on second spot. While Gagan and Harmeet makes the turn with a par on 9th, playing the  front nine at -3 and -2.

Update Juvic is making a charge with 3 birdies in a row (from 6th to 9th hole) to join Lee Westwood and Kang on the second position. He is becoming dangerous.
And now Anthony Kang drops a shot on 9th to go down.
Psitions halfway into the last round:
1 1  Gaganjeet BHULLAR    70 64 67 -3 -18 9   :D
2 3  Lee WESTWOOD         67 65 70 -2 -16 9
2 6  Juvic PAGUNSAN       66 67 71 -4 -16 9
4 1  Anthony KANG         67 65 69  E -15 9
5 6  Harmeet KAHLON       66 68 70 -2 -14 9
5 6  Neven BASIC          65 67 72 -2 -14 9
7 4  HUR In-hoi           65 69 69  E -13 9

Update Gagan drops a stroke on 11th :( So his lead is cut down to one. All others reamin at same position. Hopefully a bad stroke is out and Gagan will respond with a birdie.

I just noticed that Gagan has played the last 7 remaining holes at 11 under in first 3 rounds (12 birdies and a bogey) In total he has so far 21 birdies and 4 bogeys. In all four rounds he made one bogey each. So the best part of course is coming up for him. Go Gagan!

Update Kang and Neven drops a shot each on 10th, moving Harmeet one position up to 4th spot :)

Update Kang recovers his shot on the next hole with a birdie to take sole 4 th place. While Scott Barr with 3 birdies in a row joins Harmeet on 5th spot. Gagan makes pars on 12th and par 5 13th. Probably a missed opportunity to consolidate on 13th.
Current Positions
1  1  Gaganjeet BHULLAR    70 64 67 -2 -17 13
2  3  Lee WESTWOOD         67 65 70 -2 -16 12
2  6  Juvic PAGUNSAN       66 67 71 -4 -16 12
4  1  Anthony KANG         67 65 69  E -15 12
5 12  Scott BARR           70 71 66 -5 -14 15*
5  6  Harmeet KAHLON       66 68 70 -2 -14 13

Update Juvic birdies par 5 13th to tie with Gagan at -17. Gagan had pars on 14th and 15th holes. For the first time somebody is really putting pressure on him. With 3 more holes to go for Gagan, he needs couple of birdies soon.

Update Lee Westwood makes a doubel bogey on 14th to drop to -14. With 4 holes left, he looks out of contention. Juvic makes a par on 14th, Basically, now the fight is between Juvin and Gagan, although Kang at -15 with 5 holes to play can still challange the leaders. C'mon Gagan!!

Update Gagan is under pressure and he bogeys the 16th  :damn: Kang also bogeys the 14th and is most probably out of contention. Now its the two horse race between Juvic and Gagan and lets see who can manages the pressure better.

Update   Well Juvic also cracks under pressure as he bogeys the 15th. Both are tied at -16. Now Scott Barr also comes into play who is already in the clubhouse at -15. Meanwhile Digvijay made some preogress on back 9 with 3 birdies to move to T12 at -12

1  1  Gaganjeet BHULLAR    70 64 67 -1 -16 16
1  6  Juvic PAGUNSAN       66 67 71 -4 -16 15
3 12  Scott BARR           70 71 66 66 -15 (273)*
4 17  LIANG Wen-chong      70 67 71 66 -14 (274)
4  6  Harmeet KAHLON       66 68 70 -2 -14 16
4  3  Lee WESTWOOD         67 65 70  E -14 15
4  1  Anthony KANG         67 65 69 +1 -14 14
...
12 12  Digvijay SINGH      67 66 74 -3 -12 15

With Gagan and Juvic both droppin stroke, Harmeet Kang and Lee also have some real chances as they are just 2 strokes behind.

Leaderboard is stuck. Whats going on????

update Finally some update after a long time and both Gagan and Harmeet makes birdie on 17th :bounce: While Juvic gets a par on 16th. So Gagan once again takes the sole lead and Harmeet moves to 3rd spot. Note that last hole is a par 5 and a easy biride hole. So now pressure is on Juvic as he must make a birdie on 17th to remain in contention. And note that Kang also made a birdie on 15th to join Harmeet on 3rd spot and only 2 strokes behind the leader. A hot putter on last 3 holes can still give him a chance.

update Juvic is not going away as he also birdies th 17th to take share of the lead once again. :( So both are left with the last hole. Any mistake here would be very costly. Kang pars the 16th. So he remains 2 strokes behind with 2 holes to go.

update Gagan makes his birdie on 18th to take sole lead once again and goes to the clubhouse. :D Now the pressure is on Juvic. He needs to eagle to win the tournament, birdie to force the playoff. Anything less will give Gaganjeet his first tour tile in only his 2nd year as preoffessional.
Harmeet misses the birdie on the 18th and finishes 3rd as for now. Kang has a chance to go past Harmeet and take sole 3rd position.

Once again no updates for a long time. Its 2:30AM and I need to hit bed. Juvic must have already finished his last hole. I guess that this tournament is not over yet and there will be playoff.

Its more than half hour since last update :(
Now the Asian tour site is down  :damn:  Looks like I'll have to wait for tomorrow.

Ok, Filipino won the title by 1 stroke scoring eagle on last hole ...  Juvic Pagunsan stored his best round for the last day, today he played 7 under round to won the title ... Gagan was unlucky to ended on 2nd place ... But still this is his best finish on Asian tour and performance here definetly pump up him to achieve more on coming tournaments .. But his first priority will be grab next year's Asian tour card.

What a great show from Gaganjeet. He did not lose -- the Filipino won with the eagle. It is nevertheless a pity as that would have sewn up his tour card for the next year. He should make around 40K for his second place and that will take to him to around 67th in the order of merit. He will need another 15-20K to get his 2008 tour card.

Suresh, you said it correctly. The Filipino just took the title away with a greater effort. I think Gaganjeet is still a teenager - probably nineteen. This is his second year as proffessional. This performance will definately boost his confidence. He missed the chance of securing Asian tour card just by a whisker. But his, as well as Harmeet's top 5 performance in this event earned them an entry  to the next event Barclays Singapore Open, which is a much bigger event. Their entry was probably at the expense of GURBAAZ MANN and UTTAM SINGH MUNDY, :( who are right now top two in the reserve list.  A good performance here can earn Gaganjeet a tour card.  He is surely an upcoming star to watch.

Feel sad for Gaganjeet missing the cut as with that his chances of grabbing full card on Asian tour r diminishing.

SSP is on right track of cementing his place in top 60 with making cut in this big tournament .. Gurbaaz and Arjun having chance to climb in Order of Merit places with good finish here.

At Singapore Open - Third Round

T4  Vijay SINGH      70 70 70  - 3
T7  Shiv KAPUR        73 70 68  - 1
T31  S.S.P. CHOWRASIA  70 71 77  + 5
T38  Gurbaaz MANN      70 76 73  + 6
T44  Gaurav GHEI      72 73 75  + 7
T58  Arjun SINGH      74 72 77  +10

Third round still going on, few more players r on the course ... Superb 3 under round helped Shiv to bring inside top 10 and now he can atleast aim top 5 finish ... Vijay continued with his consistency in producing another 1 under round to move insside top 5.

Our other golfers need to work hard in last round for decent finish.

Vijay Singh is making a big push to unseat Angel Cabrera from his top position in the Singapore open.  :bounce: Vijay made an eagle and 2 birdies in last 4 holes to bring the deficit to just 2 strokes in 7 holes.  woohoo Cabrera has played 6 holes at par so far. Go Vijay!

POS  STARTED  NAME  NAT.  R1  R2  R3  R4  TO PAR  HOLE/(AGG)
1 1  Angel CABRERA    71 63 70 E -9 6
2 4  Vijay SINGH    70 70 70 -4 -7 7

6 7  Shiv KAPUR    73 70 69 E -1 8
18 30  S.S.P. CHOWRASIA    70 71 77 E +5 13
36 43  Gaurav GHEI    72 73 75 +2 +9 13*
51 37  Gurbaaz MANN    70 76 73 +5 +11 13*
66 57  Arjun SINGH    74 72 77 +4 +14 9*

Shiv Kapur is even for the day. He needs to make a move to break into top 5. C'mon Shiv! SSP with 3 birdies and 3 bogeys is also even, but he has moved to top 20 at T18 with Phil Mickelson. If he play remaining holes flawless get few birdies, he can still move into top 10.
