Jaydeep, good to see you here at this moment. Its time for celebration. I'm now so eager to see Jeev's ranking on Monday. The target for WR50 is now well within grasp of Jeev.

I also think that he'll be little short of top 50. Jeev is going to play two more tournaments this year. One more good  performance will do the job.

I just sent him a congratulatory message, thanking him for providing these great moments. It has been just an unelievable and a breakthrough year for Jeev, just like Sania's last year.

Here is his picture with the trophy.

Here is the news article along with Jeev comments.
SUPER SINGH CLAIMS THIRD WIN OF THE YEAR
Some quotes from the article:
It has been a remarkable year for Singh, who had earlier won the Volvo China Open in April and Volvo Masters in Spain in October. Last week, he clinched his first ever Asian Tour's UBS Order of Merit title after finishing joint third in the UBS Hong Kong Open.

"I played really solid. The weather was not good as it was raining and cold but I played nicely. I went out there and birdied the first hole and putted well the whole round," said Singh.

"This is my first win in Japan. I've been close a few times. I've now won on three different Tours this season, it can't get any better than this. God has been good to me. It's been a perfect year."

Smail pushed Singh all the way and narrowed the gap to one stroke with a birdie on 17. Singh needed an up and down to save par on 17 and then birdied his last hole for a two-stroke triumph. "David played rock solid, it was an excellent match," said Singh.

In all, Singh carded five birdies against a lone bogey and victory is poised to push him up on the Official World Golf Ranking where he is presently ranked 63rd. The Indian star is looking to break into the top-50 which will earn him an invitation to the US Masters next April.

"I'm not sure where I'll be when the rankings come out on Monday but hopefully, it'll be good enough for me to get into the top-50," he said.

Fantastic stuff from Jeev. He is absolutely in the zone, and winning almost everywhere at the moment. If he continues on this hot streak, he will be a contender in the Majors next year. Definitely our first genuinely world-class golfer (although Arjun and Daniel have been playing on the PGA tour and come close to winning tournaments there, they have never done what Jeev has achieved just in the past two months -- winning titles on the APGA, JPGA and EPGA, the latter two being very significant victories).

Jeevs targets another season ending tournament, this time it is the Japan tour event Golf Nippon Series JT Cup. It is a restricted event with very few top players from the money list and all winners of this season. As a result only 26 players qualify for the tournament. C'mon Jeev! Go for the win!

Yes, a good round by Jeev as he is only two strokes behind the leader. If he had two less bogeys, once again he might have landed on the top of the leaderboard. I think in last 8 rounds before this round, Jeev had been on the top of the leaderboard 6 times. He has been playing so good that our expectations are sky high. I do expect him to win this tournament - anything else will be a little disappointment. Right now Jeev is in a good position and let's wait and see how he consolidates his poition tomorrow.
