Shiv [-15] on the verge of winning woohoo
He is on the last hole with one stroke lead on Chinarat PHADUNGSIL [A] (-14) . He just need a par and hope that Jaidee (two strokes behind at -13) dosen't make an eagle.

What a way to fight back by Kapur after making a triple bogey on par three 3rd hole.

Keeping my fingers crossed as he plays the 72nd hole with a one stroke lead.

I guess Shiv can handle pressure better than Chinarat as the later is still an amateur. Go Shiv!!

Sad end to a great tournament for Shiv Kapur. He led all the way until someone caught him on the final hole! Terribly sad that he lost the playoff in the end.

You can add - to lose to amateur, a 17 yr old boy!!!! :damn: :damn:

Well, this 17 year old amateur Chinarat didn't beat only Shiv, but many other Asian stalwarts. So he played some game in this tournament and it must be respected. Note that its a different ball game when you have nothing to loose and you play without pressure, compare to when you are expected to win. Chinarat was already in the clubhouse and he was never under pressure. Shiv beat all those big name players who were expected to win. So no shame on loosing to this amateur, who is the reigning World Junior Champion. So he looks a genuine talent who must be watched over time.

NOte that Shiv lost the playoff on 18th - a hole that gave too much problem to Shiv as he bogeyed it in 3rd and 4th round. This hole in general yielded many birdies. So a playoff on 18th must have put more pressure on him.
