Can you believe that a new season is starting without a breathing space between two seasons. But this is one off tournament and their will be considerable break after this tournament.

2005 ASIAN TOUR: Volvo Masters of Asia
Bhushan, around two hours back I posted this schedule in this thread by editing my top posting, but then I moved it to results page in our golf web site.
http://golf.sports-india.com/index.php?ax=view&id=72
But it make sense to have it here too. I'm thinking that we should have a result page for all tours where the Indians would be playing.

Jeev had a nice first round as he finishes with 6 birdies and two bogies for 4 under. He is currently T3rd, although many players have yet to finish their round and his position on the leaderboard can change.
Harmeet Kahlon finished with a round of -2, while Rahil had a forgettable round of +3. Arjun Singh and Amandeep Johl hare still on the course.

After completion of first round at Asia Japan Okinawa Open ... Jeev is T4 with -4 score, just 2 strokes away from leader Charlie Wi who is -6 ... Jeev scored 6 birdies (on 10th, 14th, 16th, 2nd, 4th and 5th hole) and 2 bogeys (on 11th and 18th hole) ... Amandeep Johl and Harmeet Kahlon r T24 with -2 score.
Rahil Gangjee is T94 with +3 and Arjun Singh way down on T112 with +6 score ... Tomorrow these two has to do put lots of birdies to make cut.
Hopefully tomorrow we will see more fireworks from Jeev and Amandeep .

Yet another great round in making!! Jeev is -7 of 14 holes. Its little early to celebrate, but hopefully Jeev will add another two birdies in 4 holes to maintain his 50% share of birdies today.
Currently Jeev has opened a lead of two shots over the second placed Wi (who recently earned his PGA card through qualifiers).
Come on Jeev, emulate Jyoti's last week performance!!!!
Update
15th hole played at par
par on 16th
Birdie on 17th!!! -8 for the round. Come on Jeev!! Get one more birdie to make it -9
YAHOOOO!!!! birdie on 18th. Jeev finishes with round of -9!
GREAT ROUND!!! GO JEEV!! Win this tournament!! You can do it!!!
Jeev's putter was really hot. He only needed 22 puts for the day. That is, 4 holes needed 2 putts and rest all were only 1 putt. On his day Jeev shows an awesome display of putting. And today was one such day. I remember, he once had similar day in EPGA and made an EPGA record at that time for the lowest putting round. Jeev must keep is putter hot for two more days. Just avoid that bad round, which so often follows a good round. I guess he just need two more under par rounds to hopefully keep the lead.

OK!! JEEV is on top of the leaderboard with a total of -13 and lead the 2nd placed Wi (after 15 holes) and Lin by four strokes, but lets see where are the other Indians.
Amandeep Johl also had a good round of -4. As for now it is the 3rd best round of the day, but there are quite a few players with -4 and by the end of the day, some more players may overtake Amandeep. He had a great start with 4 birdies in a row and then he got 5th birdie on 6th hole. But a bogie on 7th put a break on his round and rest of all holes were par.
Rahil had a better round of -2 today, but missed the cut as he is currently 76th.
Arjun Singh had another bad round of +4 and he is near the end of the leaderboard with a total of +10
Harmeet Kahlon is about to finish his round with last hole remaining. He is -2 for the day with 5 birdies and 3 bogies and T22. Yesterday he had 6 birdies and 4 bogies. Too many bogies are pulling him down. He just finished his round with a par on the last hole. So three Indians (JEev, Kahlon and Johl) make the cut while two (Rahil, Arjun singh) missed it.
1 -13 J.M.Singh -9 FIN 67 62
2 -9 C.H.Lin -4 FIN 66 67
3 -8 C.Wi -2 FIN 65 69
8 -6 A.Johl -4 FIN 69 67

------------ CUT ---------

What a round by Jeev
Looks like 2004 is going to be great for Jeev as well after the disaapointing US qualifiers...
Jyoti managed to win it on the final tournament.
Arjun had a great finish to PGA tour finishing within the top 150.
Enough has been said about Vijay & Daniel.
JEEV for next 2 days..
We want a win from you...

Awesome round by Jeev ... ... Not atall expecting from him such round with his current form on green ... Now this is his biggest chance to score his first win on Japnese tour ... Which he doesn't manage until now ... C'mon Jeev u should utilise this opportunity ... Comfortably leading by 4 strokes ... Amandeep also played very nice round of -4 ... Harmeet also playing very steady golfing round ... Rahil tried hard to come back, but didn't manage to make cut.
But now our all eyes set on Jeev ... So best luck for last 2 rounds Jeev.
Jaydeep.

Even with one double bogie and a bogie, Jeev played a good round with 5 birdies to finish 2 under par and more importantly maintain his lead of 4 strokes. Well done Jeev!!
I guess similar final round (i.e. 2 under par) should be sufficient for him to win tomorrow. Jeev is paying good and need to play one more good round. Come on Jeev!!
The win is at your door. Accept it tomorrow!
