The new PGA season already started and the second event will be played this week.
Anirban Lahiri had a good one month break after securing his card for this season.
Hope he continues the good form when he finished last season and has a fast start this season.

Anirban had a decent start to his debut event of the season.
Started rusty after a month’s break…had 2 bogeys in his front 9.
Came back strongly in the back 9 with 5 birdies to finish 3 under for T32.
Indian American Sahith Theegala leads the event with 8 under par.

One more round for Sahith to announce his arrival at the PGA tour! He appears to have a well rounded game, so this will hopefully something he does again and often.

Fantastic round from Sahith to stay one clear after the third round.
The other second round joint leaders all fell back after round 3.
Big day today for Sahith if he can hold his nerve.
Having had a successful collegiate career will help as he has won few times in juniors.

Missed chance by Sahith to win a PGA Tour event.
Just a one under par final round. He was doing well in the front 9 with -3.
Bad back 9 with 3 bogeys and missing short putts cost him a win.
Pressure of the back 9 probably. Hopefully the experience will help in future.
Decent T8 finish in the end.

Sad that Sahith Theegala Reddy couldn't top off his brilliant week. That was a genuine meltdown on the final nine, after superb play for the first 3 days: he led (alone) after Day 1 and Day 3, and was jointly in the lead after Day 2, so T8 is a terrible finish. He will learn from this, hopefully, and will be better on the final day in a future tournament. The first 3 days were magical for him, especially since he is a tour rookie this year.
