Anirban Lahiri and Shubhankar Sharma are teaming up this week for the first time at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the PGA TOUR.

The US$7.3 million tournament is unique as it will feature 80 two-man teams who will play the Fourball (Best Ball) format in the first and third rounds and Foursomes (alternate shot) in the second and final rounds at TPC Louisiana. Top-35 teams will make the cut.

Round 2 was halted was due to darkness, however our golfers have completed both the rounds with a score of 67 and 69 for T28 position.

Anirban with a 5 under in the opening round in the memorial, probably his best round in a year.

Superb start to this tournament by Currently, T3 on the leaderboard.
This is where he finished T2 couple of years ago...
Hope he can sustain this effort for the next 3 rounds and finish high, come Sunday.
Subhankar got an invite and was T10 after the first 9 holes but squandered that with 4 bogeys in the back 9
Hope he comes back fighting today after being inspired by Anirban’s first round!

Collapse from Anirban at the start but studied himself after 7 holes to finish a bad round of 4 over.
Makes the cut and let’s hope for 2 low rounds over the weekend.

Subhankar made a historic Albatross followed by a birdie to make the cut. :goodluck: for last 2 rounds.

Anirban continues to collapse with another poor round 3. Wouldn't surprise if he finishes bottom of those who made the cut.
