His putting has been off in his last few rounds. He is looking really good tee to green but hasn't been converting on the greens. Not sure if he isn't as good a putter (i.e., reading the breaks and putting stroke) over his career or if the putts aren't just falling for him right now as happens from time to time (like a other wise good tennis player getting out of form).

To answer my own question, I think putting isn't a strength for Anirban. The PGA tour has pretty good putting statistics and the one I looked at is the average distance of a made 1 putt. In 2017, he is ranked 207th with a 6.1 ft average. In 2016, he was marginally better at Tied 179th with a 6.5 feet average.

The EPGA does not have this stat but his putts per GIR in 2015 (they don't have data for him in 2016) in the EPGA was a very respectable 15th. However, this could be the result of him hitting closer to the hole when the gets on the greens, so it's perhaps inconclusive.

Where Anirban does well are courses which can be overpowered - immaculate greens, clean setup (in terms of bunkers and hole placements) and not too hard strategically.

All of his best results come on such setups. Whistling Straits at the PGA championship in 2015, CIMB classic last year, de luca last year.

In that sense, he is very different to Jeev whose best results came in low scoring tournaments where power played very little role and good iron and ground game was critical - the volvo masters win, the win in Scotland and so on.

Anirban had a really good round 2 until I started watching; went 1 over the last 7 holes to end at -5. Round 3 about to start.

Round 3 has been suspended due to bad light and will resume on Sunday.
Anirban birdied the first hole until the play was stopped.
Anirban Lahiri is T7 with the score of 6 under par.

Horror showing from Anirban this morning, 4 bogeys in 5 holes. Both his driving off the tee and putting are in tatters.

Disappointing finish for Anirban Lahiri at the Genesis Open. He was 5 over & 2 over par in Round 3 & 4 respectively and has finished T64.

Disastrous finish for Anirban.
Didn't expect him to finish this low after being T3 Towards the end of round 2....
Hope he pick himself from this meltdown and does well in this week's Honda Classic...

Maybe struggled to adjust on the wet course in overcast weather.

Good start by Anirban at the Honda classic in Florida as he T-3 at -5 after round 1. He made a few longer putts which helped him go low. He finished with an eagle, so also reversed his closing hole woes at least in this round.

That eagle saved the closing woes as he had gone in Water on 17th (and got away with a bogey) and I thought here we go again...but he did superbly on 18 and made a long Eagle putt to move to T3....Early morning start today.

Yes, he hit a great shot to within 8 feet and made that putt to salvage a bogey in round 1 (after the 2 lost strokes due to hitting in the water). However, he managed to bogey the 17th again in round 2 but this time by missing a short putt of less than 5 feet.

Overall, he has finished round 2 with a 68 (-2) and is in T-3 place currently at -7 behind two others who have finished. However, a significant number of others are still on the course, so would expect him to fall some by the end of the second round but will hopefully be in the top 10 going into the final two days.

And yet again, Anirban is having a disastrous weekend.

3 bogies in the first 10 holes.
