@prajgolf Do you think Gaganjeet will be able to regain the levels he attained before his injury? I am happy to see that he pulled off a good R2 to make the cut.

@suresh - Gaganjeet Bhullar has shown improvement recently and has made the cut in last three tournaments, however he is still not close to his best but I hope that he will be back in form in the later part of the season.

SSP finally wins after finishing 2nd four times. Congratulations and hopefully he regains the form that he showed a couple of years ago with this win. Good comeback from Anirban for the second year in a row at the Indian Open. Last year he managed to win but T2 is not bad as well. We finally have an Indian (in fact two) in the top 10 of the Asian Tour leaderboard this year. SSP is at no. 3 and Anirban is at no. 10.
The win sees the 37 year old reclaim his European Tour playing privileges which he narrowly lost last season after finishing 113th on The Race to Dubai.

"This is very important for me because I get a full card and most probably I'm playing the Olympics and the World Cup also so it's very, very important for me," he said.

Superb win by SSPC amid huge pressure put on him by Anirban and after 4 runners up finishes in this event.
Held his nerve to play a superb 3rd shot on 18th to birdie and win by 2
Now 3 year exemption on European Tour incl. this year

SSP is playing this week at the Shenzhen International tournament. R2 is in progress and he has finished his round while several others are yet to complete their round. He started with an even par R1 and did well to -4 in R2. He is currently at T9 but expect him to fall several places once the round is complete. The current leader is at -12.
