Jeev is listed at No 46 in the Top 100 TOUR Players to Watch in 2010
No. 46 is remarkable for Jeev, who is playing his first year on the Tour with a Tour Card.
C'mon Jeev - now live upto the expectation and finish 46th or better on the year ending Rankings.....

Arjun Atwal is likely to play his first event on the PGA Tour in 2010 next week at the
San Diego Open. He is 1st alternate and should get in.

Arjun will get few chances this year on the PGA Tour, based on his medical exemption status and he has to make full use of it.
A top 10 gives him entry to the following week's event and that should be his minimum aim.

Good luck Arjun. As he will have limited opportunities, he must make good use of it. Arjun will play European tour next week.

:damn: :tomato: And that too on the easy Noorth Course...
Now both play the harder South Course in round 2.
Arjun will struggle to play the weekend.
Daniel had a good start and was 4 under at the turn before having a bogey and a double.
Hoever he managed to birdie 2 more at the end to finish on -3.

Waste Management Phoenix Open

Post by ajay »

So far in 2010, we are still waiting for some Indian or Indo-Swede player to make the cut in the regular PGA tour. Arjun Atwal and Daniel Chopra have missed all cuts so far. Jeev plays his first regular tour event. He is looking for a good finish so that he can improve his ranking to top 50 to get a call for Masters tournament.

Camilo Villegas has raised the bar for other players as he finished his first round at -9. (The round had 9 birdies.) Jeev didn't start well as he bogeyed his 2nd hole, the the 11th hole on the course. But after that he has settled down and he has got 3 birdies in next 4 holes (12th, 13th and 15th on the course.) He is currently T38. Go Jeev!!!

A bogey on par 3 16th pushes him to -1 and T51. :(

At Phoenix Open, Jeev scored birdie on last par-4 18 hole to finish his round 2 under ... But that doesn't improve his position as he finished day after first round on T49.

Jeev played the back 9 first and was 2 under after his first 9 holes.
However, after that he had 9 straight PARS to finish an OK round on his full debut (as a member) in a strokeplay event.
Hoping that he will cash in on a morning start on Friday....
Jeev somehow needs to move into Top 50 either this week or by next week, in order to play the WGC event the week after, where he finished 4th last year...

Jeev finished the 2nd day with a even par score. So he now stands at -2 69 71. Projected cut is -2. So he is expected to make the cut but not a good day at the office for Jeev on a rather birdie feast day for many top golfers of PGA tour..
