Anirban Lahiri had a poor 1 over par round 3 and has slipped to T6 with a score of 11 under par and is currently 3 shots behind the leaders.

Hope he does well on the final day :goodluck:

Great to see Anirban Lahiri in contention going into the final day of a PGA tour event. That has happened in quite awhile. But his return to form has been clear in the past month, and this week's 67-61-71 confirms it. If he scores a 68 or better today, he should finish in the top-3.

Sad to see that shocking meltdown over the weekend, which caused him to slump all the way down to T39, wasting all the early-round brilliance.

Subhankar Sharma had an even second round after a +2 first round at the British Open. At +2, he is almost certain to make the cut which will be either +2 or +3.

Anirban Lahiri had a poor +5 in the first round and is currently at +6 overall towards the middle of the second round and is basically certain to miss the cut.

Subhankar makes the cut at +2 and is T-52 at the end of round 2 of the British Open. However, the field is quite tightly bunched together with the leader at -6, so a couple of good rounds on the weekend could see him move up the rankings significantly.

Anirban finishes at +8 and misses the cut.

Another par in R2 drops him to T67 which was the cutoff mark so at least he plays the weekend.

He is projected to drop from 91 to 98 as things stand so needs a strong finish to ensure he plays next weekend (top 100 qualify).

Note that he needs to finish in the top 70 to receive a card with no limitations.
