Jeev loses his card for 2011 on the PGA Tour, as he could not earn enough to finish inside top 125.
There is one event left but Jeev is not likely to play, as he is away in Asia to play Singapore and Hongkong Opens.
Only way to get his card will be now via the qualies, which he may not be keen, after an average year in US.
Maybe Jeev will stick to European, Japanese Tour next year and try to get his ranking up.

After a long while Jeev has lost the postion of the leading golfer from India.
Arjun is now ranked higher than Jeev in World Rankings.
C'mon Jeev...now that u will play in Spain, Singapore, Hongkong, Dubai (if you qualify) - we expect some good reults from you.

Jeev plays his first event of 2010, on his favourite Japan Tour.
He plays in the Casio World Open, starting this week.
Hope he carries his good form from Hongkong and does well in Japan, to end the year on a high.

He is also playing the HERO HONDA INDIAN OPEN 2010 starting next week and that should be it for 2010 for Jeev.
Not a good year after his superb performances in the preceeding 3-4 years....
Injury coupled with debut year in the PGA Tour didnt help.
Ranking fell off from 50th in Jan to 157 today.
:goodluck: Jeev in 2011......

Shocking disgusting incident happened with Jeev Milkha Singh's coach Amritinder Singh at Milan airport ... Milan Airport security officials forced to remove his turban before being allowed to board the flight.
Jeev protested by telling the airport security officials that it was nothing but harassment, but to no avail.

The adamant security staff at the airport let the duo off to board the flight only after Amritinder removed his turban and it was checked by them.

Jeev finished a credible 4th at the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open in Japan.
Jeev loves Japan and finished T4 in his very first event of the year in Japan.
He is scheduled to play again this week in Japan and hope he does even better.
Jeev is now the best Indian on the World rankings at 190.
C'mon Jeev lets move into top 100 before the year end.... :goodluck:

Well, he is now back in the top-100 again, having jumped to around 92 in the world rankings with his victory last week in the Scottish Open (on the EPGA tour), to cap an absolutely remarkable comeback from his injury woes.

Jeev made the cut in the Open, the last major where he was yet to play four rounds. Back in top 100, he is raring to break into top 50 once again. Go Jeev!!

Jeev Eye's Top 50 and Masters Return
“I was really glad to be here. I enjoyed every bit of it. I expected better results than the way it has ended up. I fought hard,” said Singh.

“My goal was to finish under par but I fell short. Mentally I’m tired and I’ll rest next week and start again at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (in August). Time to celebrate (the Scottish win). We’ll have a few parties at home.”
“You have to hit the ball well and stay patient. I was patient all the time. You’ve got to be on top of the game to be under par and stay away from the bunkers. What I take from here is that this I my first Open where I played four rounds,” said Singh.
“My goal is to be in the top-50 by the end of the year. I’ve got big events, WGC, events coming up, I’ve got a very good chance,” he said.

Nice interview, and it is good to see the APGA (Asian Tour) continuing to follow these "alumni" even after they have gone on to other golf tours (JPGA and EPGA in Jeev's case, with a couple of years of PGA eligibility).

Good to see, although Jeev might well be good enough to still play for Asia...

Wow... Jeev is tuning 50? ... I guess he has been around for a long time. There was a time, around 1997 or so, when I remember him and Leander Paes as the only Indians' names I had ever seen scrolling at the bottom of the ESPN sports center in the USA (since 1985 when I came to the the US)
