BTW, Aditi has qualified for LPGA tour under category 17. She finished 25th in the qualifying tournament played in Florida. She missed the category 12 qualification by 4 spots. I think she'll get to play very few tournaments on the tour but hopefully will be able to perform well there.

Aditi has completed her second round with a solid two under par and is currently at T4 with -4 through two rounds. The clubhouse leader is Felicity Johnson at -7 after a spectacular -8 in R2. Players are still on the course and expect her to drop a few spots before the end of the day. Smriti is yet to finish her round is languishing at +11 and will not make the cut. It has been reduced to a three round event after the death of a caddie on the course yesterday. So Aditi is in perfect position to make a push for a third win in a row on the LET.

Congratulations to Aditi on a super year. During her interview after her second round, she came off as very level-headed and sure of herself. She rated her second round 70 as a lot better than the 70 in her first round, commented on her lack of distance. Putting appears to be her real strength as she finished second on the tour in the number of putts. Consistency appears to another feature of her game. She is going to be around for a long time -- hopefully, she gives the Koreans a run for the money on the American tour.

2016 in review: Aditi Ashok, Indian sport's 'Rookie of the Year'

Aditi Ashok is now ranked 100 in the World Golf Rankings.

This week she will kick start her 2017 season at the RACV Gold Coast Challenge in Australia along with fellow Indian golfers Vani Kapoor & Amandeep Drall. The Trio will also play the next week's tournament of Oates VIC Open.

Aditi Ashok has cracked the Top 100 in the World Rankings, she is currently ranked 99 as per Rolex Rankings. India's number 2, Vani Kapoor has also jumped 33 places to 654.
