Yes, India had earned only 1 quota place in mens archery thru Mangal Singh Champia. After the trials held today, Atanu Das was selected to represent India in mens individual archery.

A good choice as Atanu Das is the one in form. He reached the SF in last world cup where he almost beat world #1 Korean archer.

Does anyone have any experience with calculating teer common numbers? This is for the teer (archery) game played Guwahati India and Meghalaya. Mainly in Khanapara, Shillong and Juwai.

I use this website: https://www.teerofindia.com/ because they update results daily for all the clubs. I wanted to know if anyone knew how the common numbers are calculated so I can do it on my own.

Thank You!

It's not Deepika in compound mixed team. It's Jyothi Surekha Vennam. Compound and Recurve archers don't shoot in both events.

This is the 5th world cup final medal for Deepika in a field which consists of top 8 best performing archers of the world cup. It is depressing that such a talented archer fails time and again when it comes to olympics and Asiad.

It is only her consistency at this level for which may keep her in the outside chance for a medalist at Tokyo in our medal hopeful list for the games. Hope she gets it together finally at big games.

Indian teams are at the archery world championships in Netherlands which is a Tokyo Olympic qualification tournament.

In the qualification phase, our womens recurve team finished 6th and men finished 11th. Thereby, our women earned a bye to the PQF.
In men, we beat Norway 5-1 to enter the PQF.

Top 8 teams qualify as a team and also qualify 3 archers for individual championships.

So, our women meet Belarus and men play Canada where a win will give us quota places for Tokyo.

They both need to take this opportunity as it this is the easiest draw they can get with just one win and they qualify. But if they fail now it will be real real hard for them to qualify full teams. Hope no repeat like 2015.
