Hopefully Swarn Singh he can do something good at Incheon next year for us and keep the momentum going. I didn't realize it has been 5 years since we posted in this thread. I guess the Bajrang Lal stuff at Asiad 2010 was discussed only in the Asiad thread.

In the Asian Rowing championships at Luan,China, Swarn Singh won the gold in mens single sculls. India also won 2 sliver medals in mens four & mens eight, 2 bronze medals in mens double sculls & womens quadruple sculls for a total of 5 medals. Strangly, we participated in only 6 of the 16 events which took place & won a medal in 5 of them. We won 5 medals in the 2010 Asian games including 1 gold. So, we are pretty much where we were at that time ( unless we are also good at the events which we did not participate which is doubtful). But, Swarn Singh is the one to watch out for at Incheon Asian games.
