India won the last world cup and will probably win it again this time around
but who else will make the finals
will it be India vs Iran again or will Pakistan, Canada or another country make it
i've gotta feeling England will play much better this time. I've heard they've been practicing

kabaddi
Wow another Kabaddi world cup. I will be awaiting the results. I hope India wins this time too. ONly if they had this sport in the olympics. We would have been assured of one medal in each olympics.

kabaddi
India definately has a chance to win unless some other countries give us a shock. It will be a miracle if we lose the kabaddi world cup.
The day when China comes in to play we might have some trouble. Cause they are doing really good in sports nowadays.

Re: kabaddi
India faces Pakistan in the Gold Medal kabaddi match at the 15th Asian Games today. They have allready beaten Pakistan earlier in the tournament and are favored to win.
China is competing in every sport EXCEPT for kabaddi and karate.

Re: Kabaddi Thread ...
Congratulations to our Kabaddi teams for coming through yet again with the golds at the Asiad. Women were taking part for the first time. They went through one really close match against Iran and pulled through to the final. The men were, well, what can we say!
Here is an article on the need for kabaddi to be taken more seriously by India and Indians. There are other countries which are beginning to take the game seriously. Introduction of mats sounds ominously like the introduction of astroturf in hockey!
A struggle for recognition
