I can live with 18-20 golds and 55+ medals.
Does Sagar have a chance to make Mr. Delicious Orie into an Oreo cookie and eat him up tonight in the superheavyweight boxing final?
Sathiyan and Sharath Kamal leading early in the TT doubles Gold match, 11-8, 0-0
So, in boxing we equalled the 3 golds of last games with 1 more final to go. Total of 7 medals against 9 last time. Actually, men boxers had 8 out of 9 medals last time, so they have underperformed a bit going from 8 to 4. Women only had Marykom gold last time. This time we have 3 medals including 2 golds. And both Nikhat Zareen and Nitu have dominated all their bouts. So, an indication that they will be medal prospects in 2024 olympics if they keep it up.

So, three finals and a bronze medal match in badminton tomorrow. Can we get at least 2 golds?
Satwik-Chirag have a big block against other Malyasia pair who were Tokyo bronze medalists. Satwik-Chirag are 0-5 or something against them I think.
Wow, the Malyasian top seeds who were 5-0 were something on Satwik-Chirag got beaten by English pair of Lane and Vendy in the SF. So, now looks a much better chance for Satwik-Chirag for gold although one can never say for sure against home pair.

Great! I had given up on that Gold chance when you brought up the 0-5...
Sathiyan-SharathKamal at 4-5 in the 5th.... Now 4-8 yikes.. And 4-11, so the Brits went on a run and finished it off. Silver there
Sathiyan and SharathKamal have the singles semis coming up against the same two Brits, Pitchford and Drinkhall.
Then SharathKamal and Sreeja in the mixed doubles Gold match. Lots of work for him today.
17 golds, 13 silvers and 19 bronze for a total of 49 medals now for us. New Zealand also at 17 golds and total of 46 medals. So, at the moment looks close for 4th place. Hope we will go ahead much higher.

Yeah, what a great servant he has been for Indian table tennis! He is 40 and is in line for four medals. Three are confirmed and hopefully he'll get one in single as well. In addition to his own stuff he also mentors all the other players.

New Zealand have got their 18th gold, nose in front now in terms of golds.
Our womens cricket final has started. Australia batting first. Gives us a bit more of a chance I hope.
