Vikas Thakur adds a bronze in mens 94 kgs. Another medal in weightlifting.
Our womens table tennis team plays Singapore in the final at 2 pm today. I think difficult to win that one.
Our badminton mixed team too has reached the final with a 3-1 win over Singapore. Will play the winner of Malaysia and England which will be a tough match.

Surely we should be favourites for the mixed badminton if Srikanth is in any form.

Bad luck for Saniya SHEIKH in Women's Skeet. She was doing so well that series shooting 8/8 but missed the last 2 to miss on the medals. Even 1 of them would have been enough for her to get a medal.

If Malaysia makes it to the finals, Lee Chong Wei will be there to challenge Srikanth and I think their doubles team must be quite strong too ( as will be England's). Womens singles is one match where we will be sure favourites even if Saina plays instead of Sindhu who seems to have some injury issue.Sin Hombre wrote: ↑Sun Apr 08, 2018 6:52 am Surely we should be favourites for the mixed badminton if Srikanth is in any form.

Great upset!! Manika Batra is really good. This is probably the most unxpected result for India in common wealth games. This is the first time Singapore has not won gold in Commonwealth Games.
