This is a crazy system. With the world cups, etc., just give people some points and do a ranking and take the top-k at some date. Stupidity!

Manu shoots a 293 in the back runs to finish at 582 in the 10m qualifying. She is 2nd at the halfway stage but this should be enough to qualify for the finals.

Manu roars back in 10m air pistol qualification with a 582 which should let her qualify easily to the final. Except for a slight blip from shot no 28 to 32 where she had 44/50, she was amazing through out the rest. Heena was disastrous finishing at 570.
Yasaswini is yet to shoot.

Is this the highest ever Manu scored in this event?
I think this score is safe enough to see her through to the finals
With Heena I am not surprised she has hardly ever touched the 575 mark.

Didn't she score 388/400 in her breakthrough event at CWG. Of course, maintaining that level over 60 shots is harder.

587 is the WR.

Internationally, yes. Though she does have a 583 in one of the national trails this year.

No final but pretty good performance by Sunidhi Chauhan this. Finished 9th and just missed out. 1175 would have been enough for finals in both Delhi and Beijing.

She is only 21 and took to this event recently and her scores are on an upward trajectory. Would expect her to get a quota by the Asian championships.

There is only one more World Cup left at Rio to qualify before Asian championship

Meant inclusively there.

Manu qualifies in 3rd spot, only 2 of the 8 qualifiers have a quota spot already so will likely need to finish in a medal spot to win a quota here.

Ah since Olena has one in 25m. Good spot, she seems to be a real contender in both 10m and 25m.

Manu in 4th spot but should get a quota from here since top 2 already have one, as does #5 Olena.

Now in the final 5, with 3 qualified athletes so Manu wins her quota spot woohoo

Only 0.5 separated 1st and 4th but Manu misses out on a medal and finished out of the medals in 4th. Everyone in the top 4 started choking at the end.
