Hey, some of us have very high standards I need to see someone do things well before I congratulate them. It took Sameer six years to meet my exacting standards 
Think about it though. There is a long line outside though of people who want to apply but after Sameer there is no work left. After Sameer became the moderator, there has been none added. He has sucked up the oxygen totally and there is really no more oxygen left to share.
The Economic Indicator Calculating Babus have figured out that Sameer's doing all the work has increased the country's unemployment rate by 0.1%.
So, I debated for a long six years. This guy (or bot, on the internet, who knows who is what) has served the public so much by reporting tirelessly, answering questions, never getting into flame wars, etc. An epitome of selfless service. On the other hand, he is a major source of unemployment by just sucking up all the oxygen in a country which needs to create jobs. So, I had to think hard and long. I was debating this tough question sitting under a banyan tree, which has been renamed the Buddhu tree after me, for a long six years until the seesaw finally stopped swinging and I realized that his positive contributions can absolve him of the huge unemployment he has created. Thus, the final congratulations! Very well deserved I say.
