Re: Mtce updates to site
Hi Dhruv,
Nice to see you find time to take a peek here. One issue that I have noticed is that at times I am unable to access the forum (get an error saying that the nameserver is unable to resolve the name) and it gets okay after some time. I am also not sure if the error is at my end.
Thanks,
Suresh

Re: Mtce updates to site
Dhruv, Suresh is not alone in experiencing the problem he described. I also get this problem, as recently as this past weekend. It all started about three months ago although the problem is much less frequent now. Thanks for all you do to provide us this wonderful forum.

Me too. Generally a transient problem, always goes away if I try again in an hour or so.

Don't get me wrong, I liked when you more regular in the forum. But thanks for keeping the forum glitch free. There are issues as discussedDhruv wrote:Heh. Anyway....Omkara wrote:you exist?? Morpheus was more accessible....
Is the site still having issues? I was away in December so didn't see some of the notes but if the site is still slow and giving issues please let me know.
Thanks,
Dhruv

I'm looking into it. It may be that I need to move servers but will keep you guys updated.

Thanks Dhruv... It happened to me earlier today as well, if that info is of any use...Dhruv wrote:Prashant wrote:Me too. Generally a transient problem, always goes away if I try again in an hour or so.

Re: Mtce updates to site
We think it might have to do with nameservers and DNS resolution. Those have been updated and propogation will take a few hours. May take a day or so in some cases. If the problems continue past Saturday then its something else.....prashanthm wrote: Thanks Dhruv... It happened to me earlier today as well, if that info is of any use...
I've got a website monitoring service installed now as well to see how frequent this issue is.

Re: Mtce updates to site
It all looks to be working better for me today compared to yesterday. Let me know if things are different for you.
Also does anyone actually go to gallery2/main.php anymore?
Should I integrate it better or delete it?

Wow, that's a blast from the past...these are some pics that I took during the Bronx challenger (was it 2005?). I see Ashish (gvh) and Dushyant (dmehra) in these pics (and of course Harsh and Anjali). How are you guys doing?

Re: Mtce updates to site
Is the uptime problem fixed?
My monitoring seems to indicate that is ti but just needed some user confirmation

No issues for me too at least since last 1 week.
Dhruv - Thanks for all the great work in keeping this forum going. Just repeating my old complaint that some of the topics do not appear while one uses the option - " View active topics " particalularly threads in Sania Mirza Subforum. See if something can be done for that.
