After about a month or so, Kerala is again back at the top in case count, as Delhi has fallen below KER. There is clear rise in the Kerala numbers week to week, though it is all a slow and weak rise. People had better go get their vaccines and boosters. Need to be careful.

It is pretty clear that Kerala and Maharashtra waves are going up. The Delhi area wave is now down to about 800 total, about one third of the peak numbers earlier... It is status quo everywhere else.

I think a lot of people are continuing to justify all kinds of deaths to have been caused by Covid, maybe just to get the Rs. 50K. I mean, Kerala has not reported a death on the day for some 4 or 5 weeks now, but continue to add an average of 25 deaths per day from earlier. There cannot be that much of disparity between daily reports and audited death reports without some deliberate manipulation, right?

The Delhi and nearby area's numbers have dropped to around 600, but more than half of India's total is now made up by the southwest coastal states, KER-KAR-MAH with 1000+ and the numbers are rising at around a +50 per day average rate in those three states.

They are certifiably crazy, if they think a rise from 1000 cases to 3200 cases and back to 2000 cases in the last several weeks is showing some "surge" in India. Some of these countries behave laughably. But then again, maybe they are looking at just Kerala, but even that is hardly much of a surge right now.

So, it was around +700 in the areas around Delhi and +924 in the Ker-Kar-Mah belt. The wave is going up, and we need to wait to see where it will peak in these three states. My guess now is that the Indian total may go up to around 5000 to 7500 cases due to the southwest coastal belt, and by then TN/AP/TEL/ODI should start showing higher numbers too. Or maybe MP/CHG/JH/BIH also... Just wild hunches.
