Place to stay in NYC
Hey! I don't know if this is the appropriate forum to put this up. I'm a law student from India and I'm visiting Washington this March-April for a competition (Moot Court). Post this, I'm visiting NYC for a visit between the 4th and 8th of April. I don't have a place to stay and I'm looking for a place to stay at a safe locality. If anyone has suggestions, do please let me know.

Re: Place to stay in NYC
Hi Ravishankar,
NYC is a pretty safe city (contrary to what you may read in the newspapers) if you stick to the usual touristy areas. There are a few bad neighborhoods in some of the boroughs but I don't think you have a reason to go into those areas. You should try and stay in midtown Manhattan. Brooklyn and Queens are pretty convenient too. Getting to/from DC should be very easy if you stay in midtown Manhattan. PM me if you want more info. We stay in NJ but I commute into NY for work everyday.
