Congrats!! I remember how relieved I was when I got mine. It took me 8 years to get it after the company filed for it. The company that I was working for was brought over by another company half way through my process and they had to restart the process .

I am not very sure of visa's is life really that bad without a Green Card? I am just ignorant about it.

@Omkara, it's not so much from an entry/reentry point of view that I was relieved about. Right now, I'm being tossed around the country, being forced to travel and work on multiple projects...
Now, I can have a say 'No' to all that crap... That's what I meant when I mentioned 'better life'
