Where is Jaydeep?

Have not seen Jaydeep in the forum since Oct 2nd. Very odd, as the CWG is on, and two football matches were in Pune since then. Have any of you been in touch with him. Hope all is well with him.. Jay

OK, jaydeep replied to my PM. Phew !!

After u all guys long negativity about Commonwealth Games I decided to visit venues ... So bit of travelling from Pune to Delhi and back ..

So, that is the deal. Carry a laptop and look for internet next time, jaydeep

He says he found the venues and everything really good at CWG, by the way.

Ok. I too was wondering where Jaydeep has disappeared & missing all those timely & accurate updates during commomwealth games. Probably, we should have phone nos. of the regular members of Sports India in the database which will make it easier to connect if someone goes missing for a long time.

I already asked this to jayakris in cwg thread.He is still active in facebook though updating daily medal winners,etc etc.

Yeah, I think I assumed when you asked that he might have gone to the football game at Pune last week and that might be why he was missing.. After a few more days, I started wondering.. I should look at facebook, which I don't usually do. Jay

I was there with laptop and usb but taking laptop inside was lot of security hassle so decided to drop that idea.

So Jaydeep, we are waiting for your update on the games. Is all the criticism (organizational, crowds, tickets, filth) justified? More importantly, anything interesting to note that wasn't so obivious (stand out athletes, infrastructure..etc).

I'm connected to Jaydeep on Facebook (even though I too am clearly from an older generation -- like Jay and jai_i_c), and was receiving his terrific daily updates on the CWG (although I was in north America on a business trip throughout the CWG, except on the final day of competition). So the lesson is for all to join Facebook

(I am a big fan of that networking site).
